ATP 250 Winston-Salem quarterfinals

Munar – Fucsovics: 21.08.2025 22:00 CEST
H2H: 0-1

Jaume Munar has won three of his last five matches. The Spaniard struggled on hard courts this season so far. Last week in Cincinnati, Munar lost to Comesana in the opening round in straight sets. This week in Winston-Salem, Munar demolished Bellucci in the opening round. He won in straight sets, whilst losing only four games altogether. Munar lost his serve at the very beginning of the match, but quickly turned it around. Other than that, the Spaniard dominated throughout the match. In the second round, Munar defeated Sonego in three sets.

Marton Fucsovics has won three of his last five matches. This week in Winston-Salem, Fucsovics defeated Gaston in straight sets comfortably. He served well throughout the match. In the second round, the Hungarian defeated Griekspoor in three sets. In the deciding third set, he served great, not offering any breakpoints. In the 1/8-Finals, Fucsovics won against Bautista-Agut in straight sets. He offered and saved only one breakpoint.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree. Fucsovics is in great form and has dominated in every match this week. Munar had a rough battle against Sonego. We expect Fucsovics to be a better player tonight.

That being said, Fucsovics winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Marton Fucsovics winning @2.00 @bet365

Bu – Van de Zandschulp: 22.08.2025 02:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Yunchaokete Bu has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Cincinnati, Bu lost to Fonseca in the opening round in three tight sets. This week, Bu defeated Tseng in three tight sets in the opening round after playing for over three hours. In the second round, Bu upset Tsitsipas, winning in straight sets. Navone also had no answer for his game in the 1/8-Finals. The Chinese was great under pressure, saving six out of seven breakpoints.

Botic Van de Zandschulp has won four of his last five matches. This week in Winston-Salem, the Dutchman defeated Walton in the opening round in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 2-6, Van de Zandschulp stepped up his level and turned the match around after playing for almost three hours. In the second round, Arnaldi had no chance against him. Van de Zandschulp served extraordinarily well, not offering any breakpoints. Baez won the opening set 6-0 in the 1/8-Finals. However, the Dutchman stayed calm and turned the match around. He hopes to go deep this week to cement his top 100 status and maybe even come closer to the top 50 in the rankings.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree. Van de Zandschulp has been one of the most inconsistent players this season. On the other hand, Bu dominated this week in Winston-Salem. He defeated Tsitsipas and Navone in straight sets and will be confident coming into this match. We expect him to be a better player tonight.

That being said, Bu winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Yunchaokete Bu winning @1.80 @bet365
