Carlos Alcaraz is not accustomed to losing.
Whether he's chasing down seemingly impossible-to-get shots from an opponent, or dazzling the crowd at major tournaments like this year's French Open where he stunned with his five-set win over world number one, Jannik Sinner, his fight is fierce and unwavering.
Alcaraz is once again wowing fans at Wimbledon 2025, where he is through to the quarter-finals. During his third-round post-match interview, Alcaraz was not only asked about his four-set win against German Jan-Lennard Struff, but also about his recent match off the court.
The five-time Grand Slam winner revealed he always makes time for his other passion, golf, trading the iconic grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for grass on the greens, when he teed it up with two-time Wimbledon Champion, Sir Andy Murray, prior to the start of this year's tournament.

In a video posted on Wimbledon's X account, Alcaraz was asked about his golf match with Murray, "So we've got to ask you, how did it go, and more importantly, who won?"
"He said to you to ask me this question right?," Alcaraz responds to laughter from the crowd. "Ok, I know, I know, because he beat me that day. He beat me in golf that day."
In a YouTube video documenting the round of golf with the two tennis stars, Murray playfully summarized his win over Alcaraz as the equivalent of a "6-2 6-2" win in tennis. In other words, pretty easy.
The 22-year old Spaniard took his post-round interview as an opportunity to set the record straight, however, adding that he beat Murray, 38, during a golf match they played a few days later, so their record is 1-1.
It's fair to say a third match is in order to break the tie and Alcaraz was quick to confirm the pair will be hitting the links for nine holes very soon.
