In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Mirra Andreeva revealed the "expensive" gift she got for herself after winning the Dubai Championships, during a fun interview with Garbiñe Muguruza. Also, Sloane Stephens showed fans how she's embraced her new role as a broadcaster and her excitement about her recent interview with Carlos Alcaraz.
Meanwhile, Naomi Osaka received praise from her coach Patrick Mouratoglou, following an emotional press conference where she cried about "disappointing" him.
Patrick Mouratoglou left a message of praise for Naomi Osaka after his charge lost in the first round of Roland Garros. The four-time Grand Slam champion was in tears during her press conference following the defeat to Paula Badosa, where one of her comments was about disappointing her coach: “I hate disappointing people. Patrick goes from working with the greatest player ever [Serena Williams] to, like… ‘What the f--- is this?’ You know what I mean?” the Japanese player mentioned while crying in the press conference.
However, Mouratoglou had a response for Osaka on social media, expressing that she should be proud of the sacrifices she has made and that the results, sooner or later, will come: “You can be proud of yourself @naomiosaka. The efforts you make, the work and the heart you put in it are amazing,” he wrote.
“Considering all that, I haven’t been able to help bringing you where you deserve to be. But I have no doubt, this will pay off soon. It is like a construction. You have built strong foundations but until the building is over, we don’t see the real quality of the edifice. To be continued…”

Mirra Andreeva gave a fun interview with former world No. 1 Garbiñe Muguruza, where the Spaniard casually asked what she would like to buy for herself after her next big win. “I don’t really need anything,” the Russian replied. “For example for my win in Dubai I bought myself a set of Lego,” she added, to Muguruza's laughter. “It was really expensive, it cost like hundred euros,” the teenager continued.
The moment made Muguruza laugh, considering the high prize money earned from such titles. Indeed, Andreeva pocketed around $600,000 for the Dubai title, and her earnings this year already exceed $3 million. Andreeva also spoke with Muguruza about the celebrity she would like to spy on if she could, and without hesitation, she chose Ryan Gosling. You can watch the funny moment between them below.
