ESPN, U.S. Open agree to extension thru 2037
Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The United States Tennis Association and ESPN agreed on a 12-year extension that will keep the broadcast rights to the U.S. Open with the cable giant through 2037.

The new agreement, which begins in 2026, will see the USTA take over host broadcaster duties while ESPN focuses on production resources.

The deal also gives ESPN expanded streaming rights, per Wednesday's announcement.

"After many remarkable years of partnership, we are thrilled to extend our partnership with ESPN and the Walt Disney Company, a collaboration that has driven extraordinary growth for the US Open," said Lew Sherr, USTA CEO and executive director.
