Jannik Sinner v Carlos Alcaraz begins shortly at Wimbledon with the next chapter of their burgeoning rivalry set to get underway. But it seems the fever for the duo has meant that the inflation of the prices to watch said final has reached a fever pitch.

Tickets for the men's singles final at Wimbledon are selling for more than £20,000 on some resale sites. Either Alcaraz will become a three time consecutive champion at 4pm BST or Sinner will claim his first.

It would also be his first not on hard courts and is five weeks on from their French Open final which saw Alcaraz prevail as he has in their last five meetings. But some tickets are going for more than £20,000 with sites such as Viagogo shilling them for £16,336 for the cheapest ticket available.

The most expensive being £20,715. On Stubhub, it is the most expensive sat at £19,460 for one match of tennis. The face value tickets are between £240-£315 so that is a whopping markup.

It also sees Wimbledon tickets reach a new high price wise as it was sat at £63 at the turn of the century. While in 2018, it reached over £200. Now it is over £300. As has become the case too with tickets in general with concerts and other sporting events now mirroring a change in times.

Fans can obtain tickets for the final via ballot and queuing for resale in the hope that a ticket becomes available. Sinner is hoping to win a fourth Grand Slam after two Australian Open titles and one US Open. However he has not beaten Alcaraz in their last five. Albeit he was the last man to beat the Spaniard in 2022 in London so has form of doing it on the biggest stage.
