Jack Draper hits impressive ATP landmark despite lengthy spell on the sidelines

It speaks volumes about Draper’s strong start to 2025 that even after his time away, he only just dropped out of the top 10.

Alexander Bublik moved ahead of him after winning the Hong Kong Open, but the Briton remains well-placed among the game’s top players.

The British No.1 has now reached a milestone of 100 weeks inside the ATP Tour’s top 50 rankings, a run that began in late 2022.

During that period, he has picked up three singles titles – Stuttgart, Vienna and Madrid – along with reaching the semi-finals at the US Open and making fourth-round appearances at both Roland Garros and the Australian Open.

With his comeback on the horizon, Draper should have plenty of time to extend that streak as we head into another new season.

Though it is an ATP 500 event, the Rotterdam Open will be no soft landing for Draper as he makes his return from injury.

The British player joins a strong field that includes defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and world number three Alexander Zverev.

Despite holding the world number 11 ranking, Draper enters as the fifth highest-ranked player in the draw.

The line-up also features Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alex de Minaur, along with Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Tallon Griekspoor.
