Jannik Sinner won the Six Kings Slam Tournament for the second time in a row and took home a huge prize money of $6 million. The Italian beat his arch-rival cum friend, Carlos Alcaraz, 6-2, 6-4 in the final to win the title. The 4-time Grand Slam Winner appeared in the Post-match talk and defended the scheduling of the Six Kings Slam Tournament.

Following his win, Sinner felt the need to dedicate a bit of their time to spend along with amateurs, children, and younger players. He felt the criticism of the Six Kings Slam Tournament, unlike the other longer tournaments was not valid, as they lasted for longer period than the Six Kings Slam Tournament did.

"It is very important to play tennis in different ways. For us, having weeks dedicated to amateurs, days dedicated to children, is hugely important: children are the future, they are the generation that will one day arrive," Sinner said. Over the years, there has been an increase in emphasis on reducing the Tennis schedule for individuals.

Sinner backed the Six Kings Slam Tournament, claiming it promotes the culture of spending time with amateurs and children. He noted that the Tennis schedule has big tournaments and audience who watch them and felt the need to have tournaments with unique treatment.

“The product we already have is incredible, we have everything: big tournaments around the world, big audiences… but can we improve it? Of course. Events dedicated to amateurs and children, exhibitions, are fundamental: that is why we are here," Sinner added in his statement.
