Jannik Sinner Is Left With One Question After Winning Wimbledon

There may be four Grand Slams on the calendar, but let’s be honest Wimbledon just feels different. It’s the crown jewel, the one every player dreams of lifting on Centre Court while the world watches.

For Jannik Sinner, that dream is now his reality. He toppled Carlos Alcaraz in an epic showdown to claim his first Wimbledon title, cementing his name alongside some of the sport’s greatest champions. But as the confetti settles and the celebrations fade, Sinner has got one big question on his mind.

Sinner took to Instagram to share his dilemma with fans. He posted a series of pictures with his team, lifting the trophy and more with a caption that said, “Am i still dreaming?”

For Sinner, the part he’s proudest of is how he stayed honest with himself through all the doubt after that tough loss in Paris.

He said he kept asking, “What if?” but chose to accept it and move on instead of tearing himself down. He’d rather lose a final fighting for every point than barely win a game and get blown off the court. That mindset pushed him to train with crazy intensity, knowing another Slam was right around the corner.

Beating Alcaraz wasn’t easy either; they'd had close battles before in Beijing and Rome, and even though he lost those, he felt he was never far off.

He still looks up to Alcaraz and knows he’ll come back even stronger. Now, with the Wimbledon title in hand, Sinner knows there’s a big target on his back but he’s ready for whatever comes next.
