ESPN's flagship 'College GameDay' show has been hitting on all cylinders so far this season, with the addition of Nick Saban taking things to new heights, while the popularized kicking segment with Pat McAfee has taken off.
When you throw in the drama with Kirk Herbstreit's beloved late Golden Retriever Ben, who tragically passed away this past month, it really has been a show that hits viewers on every level.
On Saturday, ahead of the Big Ten showdown between Ohio State and Indiana, the show did it once again. This time, it was another one of Herbstreit's dogs, Peter, who made waves after completely interrupting one of the popular segments.
While an Ohio State student was lining up to kick a 35-yard field goal for a grand prize of $400,000 during McAfee's famous segment, Peter the Retriever had different ideas.
The big dog kept getting in the way of the kicker, despite Herbstreit's best efforts of throwing a tennis ball for him as often as he could. The kicker had to reset several times, and ended up complaining about the dog at one point while McAfee chastised Peter for "icing the kicker."

The fan ended up getting the kick off, and pulled it just a hair left, missing out on the financial prize. McAfee ended up giving him one more attempt at hitting the field goal for $250,000, plus a $250,000 donation to a Buckeyes charity.
The second attempt was even worse, barely getting off of the ground.
So was it the dog that got in his head, or the thousands of rowdy college students around him applying the pressure?
The world may never know, but either way it offered a wonderfully entertaining bit of content on a Saturday morning ahead of one of the best college football games of the year between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers.
