In a new " Daily Dose of Social Media," Nick Kyrgios had fun with a "Pokémon blind rank," joking about the abilities Pokémon would have on the tennis court, while Stefanos Tsitsipas answered a round of questions, including his go-to comfort food and the artists he would headline at a festival.
Meanwhile, Björn Borg and Boris Becker surprised fans with some photos from the beaches of Ibiza, and Tommy Paul shared details of his marriage proposal to his fiancée, Paige Lorenze, a few weeks ago.
Nick Kyrgios participated in a fun "blindly rank" in a recent social media video, where he showed his fanaticism for Pokémon. In the video, he rated how some Pokémon would hypothetically perform on a tennis court. The former Wimbledon finalist showed his great sense of humor in an interview with Australian influencer Vinnie Caracciolo, where he blindly ranked different Pokémon.
Kyrgios was pleased with the list when he finished the round, stating: “I’m happy with that list. That Machamp design was the coolest thing ever.”
The former world No. 13 was expected to return to the courts this week at the Cincinnati Open—where he was originally on the entry list—but he ultimately decided to withdraw from the tournament after citing another injury. It remains to be seen whether the Australian will finally appear at the US Open, as there are serious doubts about his participation after a year in which he has failed to regain his position on the Tour due to his ongoing battle with injuries that have kept him off the court for the last couple of seasons.

Boris Becker shared a series of vacation photos from the beaches of Ibiza, where he met with an old acquaintance from the world of tennis: former world No. 1 and multiple Grand Slam champion Björn Borg. The former Swedish player has one of his residences in Ibiza, and amid the European summer, he welcomed his German colleague. They spent a few days with their respective wives, as seen in photos shared by Becker on social media.
Borg won a total of 11 Grand Slam titles between 1974 and 1980 (6 at the French Open and 5 at Wimbledon), while Becker won 6 major titles between 1985 and 1996 (2 Australian Opens, 3 Wimbledons, and 1 US Open). They never actually faced each other, considering the Swede retired in 1982 (at just 26 years old), while Becker made his professional debut in 1985 (at 17). Becker himself has admitted in the past that Borg was one of his idols when he started playing tennis, and their friendship has developed over the years.

Alexander Zverev shared a series of photos from his first days in Cincinnati, following his participation in Media Day and his initial practice sessions before his debut. The world No. 3 will debut this Monday against local youngster Nishesh Basavareddy, who comes from a win over Alexander Vukkic. The German arrives as one of the favorites in Cincinnati, despite a painful loss in the semifinals of the recent Canadian Open to Karen Khachanov, in which he squandered match points. This result marks Zverev's best performance in a Masters 1000 so far this season.
The three-time Grand Slam finalist has also won the Cincinnati title before, after defeating Andrey Rublev in the 2021 final. In his last two appearances in Cincinnati, Zverev reached the semifinals, falling on both occasions to the eventual champions, Novak Djokovic (2023) and Jannik Sinner (2024).

Stefanos Tsitsipas was featured in a recent ATP video where he answered a round of questions. The former world No. 3 gave some relaxed answers that went beyond the tennis court, revealing, for example, his "go-to comfort food" and choosing his favorite headliners for a music festival. “I’ll go for Bad Bunny and The Weeknd,” he mentioned in the video.
The Greek player is looking to redeem himself after a turbulent few months as he arrives in Cincinnati. He has dealt with injuries, adverse results, and a controversial one-month partnership with Goran Ivanisevic, which ended with mutual criticisms between the Greek and the Croatian coach. Tsitsipas has already debuted in Cincinnati with a straightforward victory over the Hungarian player Fabian Marozsan (7-6, 6-2) and will face France's Benjamin Bonzi in the Round of 32, a player against whom he holds a favorable 3-0 head-to-head record.

Tommy Paul shared details about his marriage proposal to his girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, following the recent announcement of their engagement. The world No. 16 decided to take a few days off after his early exit in the second round of Wimbledon and went on vacation with his girlfriend and her family before returning to the courts for the North American hardcourt swing. This provided the perfect opportunity for the proposal. “It was really cool, we went on her family’s vacation; they go to Nantucket every year. I kind of knew I wanted to do it there,” Paul revealed in an interview with the ATP.
The 27-year-old American announced his engagement to Lorenze a few weeks ago but quickly got back to work on the courts. In fact, he made his return this Saturday at the Cincinnati Open, where he secured a comfortable 6-2, 6-2 victory against Pedro Martinez in the second round, advancing to the Round of 32. Paul will face Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in his next match, who is in great form with four consecutive wins in Cincinnati, coming from the qualifying rounds.
