'Not even in two best of all time,' Roger Federer’s forehand faces brutal scrutiny from coach Patrick Mouratoglou

Comparing Federer’s shot to that of a golfer, he revealed that the Swiss player was the first one to have his head turned to his right while hitting the forehand and the head would remain even after the shot was played. 

Furthermore, the Frenchman also revealed that Federer took time away from his opponent with that forehand, earning several points throughout his career. However, it still did not top the list as Mouratoglou, believes that Federer had more than just the forehand. 

Federer’s forehand is not even in the two best of all time in my opinion. He had so much more than this unbelievable forehand in his game.

In addition to that, the Frenchman also listed out his top 5 best forehands of all time in the comments section of the video. 

Patrick Mouratoglou ranked Rafael Nadal’s forehand as the best shot of all time, and Federer made it to the top 3

Patrick Mouratoglou, a renowned coach, shared a few insights on Roger Federer’s forehand while ranking it third in his all time list. 

Making it to the top was Rafael Nadal, who arguably has one of the most accurate forehands in tennis. With a different turn of the arm, the Spaniard can get the maximum of his forehand. Surprisingly, the second was Fernando Gonzalez, who had one of the most devastating and consistent forehands of all time. 

Federer made it third and soon followed Pete Sampras and Juan Martin Del Potro, who was known for his amazing forehands that put even the best in the business in trouble. It is also to be noted that Novak Djokovic did not make the cut. Many would argue that the Serbian has pin-point accuracy in his forehands, making it as good as the people on the list.
