With the 2025 Wimbledon Championships less than a week away, former World No.1 Novak Djokovic has been announced as a participant at this week's Giorgio Armani Tennis Class. The grass court exhibition event is the final opportunity for ATP stars to finalize their preparations for SW19, while entertaining the audience with some high-quality tennis.

Hosted at the Hurlingham Club in London, Djokovic will join the likes of home favorite Jack Draper, Americans Frances Tiafoe and Christopher Eubanks, and former US Open champion Marin Cilic. The Serbian will play his first match of Friday, June 27th as he takes on Russian Karen Khachanov, following a match between Italian Lorenzo Musetti and Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Djokovic to resume quest for 25th Grand Slam title

Having won his 100th career ATP title in Geneva last month, the Serbian star is now the first man in the Open Era to win a title in 20 different seasons, from 2006 to 2025. However, Djokovic has his eyes set on extending his Grand Slam trophy lead, with the 38-year old already sitting at the top of the list with 24 Major titles.

"With the event just around the corner, we’re pleased to welcome additional high-caliber players to the lineup," said Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic director Nikhil Waugh. "Djokovic’s return is particularly notable, and we look forward to another successful edition of the tournament.”

Djokovic last competed on the ATP Tour at the 2025 French Open, where he fell in the semifinal to World No.1 Jannik Sinner. The Belgrade native did not enter any warm up events on grass prior to Wimbledon, and will use the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic as his lone public preparation for next week's Wimbledon tournament.
