Rafael Nadal, the Spanish superstar, is days ahead of making his comeback to the tennis court after a year. Before the auspicious day, the Spaniard was seen practicing in the presence of his family.

Recently, his son was snapped along with his mom Maria during the practice session for Nadal against his long-time rival Andy Murray. The baby, nestled in his mother’s arms, was gazing over as his father was practicing on the court.

The bond between Rafa and his son has been seen through many snaps. This is not the first time the baby was spotted at his father’s practice; he also walked into the court holding a racket and Nadal’s hand in the other.

Before this, during one of the practice sessions, the 22-time Grand Slam title champion made funny faces at his son during a practice, expressing his sense of humor and love for his baby.

His family has been with him throughout the whole practice session and has now been present to witness Rafa’s comeback after a year. The Spaniard will make a comeback at the Brisbane International alongside the likes of talented players like Ben Shelton, Holger Rune, Andy Murray, and more.

Rafael Nadal wishes Andy Murray luck ahead of his comeback, thanks his rival for the practice session

Spanish star Rafael Nadal has all eyes on him as fans start counting down the days until his much-awaited return. After running through a list of ATP players, he recently had a joint practice session with his long-time rival Andy Murray

After the practice, the Spaniard posted a picture on his Instagram, wishing his long-time rival luck for the upcoming seasons and thanking him for the practice.

Thanks Andy Murray for a great practice today. Good luck at the tournament my friend! thanked Rafa Nadal after the practice.

The qualifier rounds of the Brisbane International are underway, and Nadal is set to face one of the qualifiers in his first match of the season. Andy Murray’s first match is against the very talented Grigor Dimitrov

If both Nadal and Murray manage to do well in the tournament, they can face each other after eight long years. As part of the Big 4, both the experienced players will try to have a deep run at the tournament and carry that momentum to the Australian Open, which is set to take place on January 14th.
