For the majority of the last 20 years, only a handful of men have managed to get their hands on a Grand Slam.
The ‘big three’ era saw the major scene dominated by Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
In the last two years, the ‘new two’ of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have split all four major titles between them.
With the retirements of Nadal, Federer and Andy Murray in recent years, there are now only six active players on the ATP Tour who have won a Grand Slam
Djokovic is the all-time leader in men’s major titles and is tied with Margaret Court for the most of any man or woman in history with 24.
The Serb last emerged victorious on one of the sport’s four biggest stages in 2023, when he defeated Daniil Medvedev to hoist the US Open title.
Since then, he has attempted to clinch number 25, but has not been able to get over the line in the twilight of his career.
Alcaraz added two more titles to his major tally in 2025, going back-to-back at Roland Garros before winning his second US Open crown.
He now has as many Grand Slam titles as Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg, and is on track to match the totals of Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic.
The Spaniard is still just 22 years old, and with his current trajectory, he may just carve out a career worthy of being considered in the GOAT (Greatest of all time) debate.
Alcaraz’s great rival, Sinner, is the only man stopping him from winning all four Grand Slam titles every year.
The Italian has also picked up two crowns in 2025, including a maiden Wimbledon championship.
With four to his name now, Sinner has already surpassed Murray’s career total, and looks set to clinch many more.
Stan Wawrinka is one of four players active on the tour who have won multiple Grand Slams, a feat he achieved in the mid-2010s.
The Swiss star claimed the 2014 Australian Open, the 2015 French Open, and the 2016 US Open, in the most difficult era of all time.
At 40 years of age, Wawrinka is still going, and although it is unlikely that he will win another major, he has recorded an incredibly successful career.
Daniil Medvedev was the last player outside of Sinner, Alcaraz, and the ‘big three’ to win a Grand Slam trophy.
He picked up his sole championship at the US Open in 2021, after defeating Djokovic on Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Medvedev’s form has dipped this year, but with a promising start to life under a new coach, he could possibly contend for majors once again.
Marin Cilic reached the peak of his career in 2014, when he secured his first and only Grand Slam title at the US Open.
That year, Cilic defeated Federer in the semifinals to advance to the championship match, where he ultimately overcame Kei Nishikori to win it all.
He has managed to reach two major finals since then, but in 2025, he remains a one-time champion.
