Tommy Paul announced his engagement to girlfriend Paige Lorenze via social media. The World No. 16 concluded a grass-court swing without significant results, with only one win and two losses, but he's now set aside his tennis woes for big personal news.

Paul, who typically keeps his private life away from the spotlight, announced this Sunday in a social media post with influencer Lorenze that they decided to get engaged after nearly three years of dating.

The 28-year-old had a disappointing run on European grass courts, with a first-round loss at the Eastbourne Open and only reaching the second round at Wimbledon, where he was the 13th seed and one of America's big hopes. The adverse results cost him several spots in the rankings, falling from No. 8 just a couple of weeks ago to No. 16 as of this Monday.

While enjoying a few weeks off from competition before his return for the American hardcourt swing, the former top-10 player got engaged to his girlfriend.
