Trinity Rodman With A Wonderful Message For Boyfriend Ben Shelton

Celebrity couples have been a thing forever, in all industries. Music, Sports, TV, you name it. They have always and will always be a thing. They get plenty of attention, good and bad, as a result.

One of the current celebrity couples when it comes to sports are USWNT international Trinity Rodman, and Tennis player Ben Shelton. The two began seeing each other back in March of this year.

The 23-year old was seen supporting boyfriend Shelton during the Wimbledon championship throughout the summer, where he made the quarter-finals, before losing to eventual champion Jannik Sinner.

It would be a very unfortunate end to the slam season for Shelton, who had to retire during his US Open round of 32 game on home soil. Not the fairy tale ending he or Rodman would have been hoping for.

Today, the world number six turns 23 years old. For his birthday, Rodman shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, saying: "To the most beautiful soul I've ever met. Happy birthday Benny! You've changed me, loving me the way I never knew someone could. Even with your lifestyle you make me a priority every chance you get and I'll always be grateful for every minute you love me."

"You inspire me every day, and you always keep a smile on my face. I love you NL." Some very nice words with a very nice video. Any Tennis fan will know what she means when she says "even with your schedule". The Tennis calendar is brutal, even when it isn't slam season. There are ATP's played all across the world, and it takes a lot of time and travelling.

No doubt that Rodman has a not too dissimilar schedule, as someone who plays for the Washington Spirit in the NWSL, and the US Women's national team - for whom she already has 47 caps, despite being just 23 years of age - five months older than Shelton.

That also comes despite the fact she has actually not played for the USWNT since the Olympics in 2024, where she scored three goals and provided one assist as the USA won the gold medal with a win over Brazil in the final.

Meanwhile, Shelton has played just once since injury forced him to retire during the US Open - a straight sets defeat to Belgian David Goffin in Shanghai last week, losing 2-6, 4-6.

That is another example of the brutal schedule - playing an ATP all the way over in China. He has also played ATP's in the USA, Canada, Spain, England, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Mexico and New Zealand - all in 2025 alone. An absolutely crazy schedule that must be pretty draining both physically and also mentally.

Well, it is good to see Rodman and Shelton both happy together, and to see such a nice post on her social media. Happy Birthday, Ben.
