The conclusion of the third complete Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) season takes place this week in London, England, at Copper Box Arena. Founded in 2020, UTS has done a terrific job engaging with younger fans through an interactive, fast-paced format. Seventeen players competed across three UTS events in 2025. Eight have been invited to compete for a nearly two-million-dollar purse in London. But who will claim victory during the night session on Day 2?

Ultimate Tennis Showdown London Grand Final Day 2 Predictions

Francisco Cerundolo vs David Goffin

Head-to-Head: Cerundolo 1-0 Goffin

Francisco Cerundolo will reach the UTS Grand Final semifinals with a win during the Day 2 night session. Luckily for him, he squares off against David Goffin. The 34-year-old Belgian has won just a single quarter in two matches this weekend. On the other hand, I have loved the form the Argentine has shown.

Prediction: Cerundolo in four quarters

Andrey Rublev vs Adrian Mannarino

Head-to-Head: Rublev 4-1 Mannarino

Andrey Rublev has all but closed out Group A with a 2-0 effort. That said, I still expect him to bring a high-level to this match. Adrian Mannarino is a tricky opponent, especially in this quick format. But I will side with Rublo.

Prediction: Andrey Rublev in four quarters

Alex de Minaur vs Tomas Machac

Head-to-Head: de Minaur 1-0 Machac

The winner of this match will reach this semifinals of the UTS Grand Final on Sunday. Expect fireworks. Both men have had previous UTS success, with Alex de Minaur winning the title last season and Tomas Machac coming to London as the No. 1 seed this year. In what will be a back-and-forth battle, I will ultimately trust de Minaur in the tense moments.

Prediction: de Minaur in sudden death

Casper Ruud vs Ugo Humbert

Head-to-Head: Ruud 3-3 Humbert

Ugo Humbert has looked terrifc in his first two matches at UTS. After an incredibly close loss to Cerundolo yesterday, Casper Ruud came back with an emphatic win over David Goffin. If he wants any chance at reaching the semifinals, he must beat Humbert and hope for a Cerundolo loss. I expect the Norwegian to get it done.

Prediction: Ruud in four quarters
