Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic won in an upset and advanced to the semifinals to face No. 1 Jessica Pegula, who survived a three-set scare Thursday at the Bad Homburg Open in Germany.

Noskova took down Russian third seed Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 6-3. She never lost her serve, saving all three break points she faced to polish Andreeva off in 78 minutes. Pegula passed a tough test from No. 5 Emma Navarro 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in an all-American battle.

The other semifinal will pit No. 2 seed Jasmine Paolini of Italy and No. 4 seed Iga Swiatek of Poland in a rematch of their 2024 French Open final. Paolini got past Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia 7-5, 7-5, and Swiatek defeated No. 8 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova of Russia 6-4, 7-6 (5).
