Alabama football extended an offer to Dillon Mitchell on Monday.
Mitchell attends C.E. King High School in Houston, Texas, and he is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. Most recruiting sites have him rated as a four-star recruit. He holds previous offers from Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M and several other programs.
The 5-foot-8, 160-pound sophomore reports a 4.37 40-yard dash time with proven track speed to prove his explosiveness. He consistently runs a sub-11-second 100-meter dash time and holds a PR of 9.88 seconds in the event as a track sprinter. To put things in further perspective of how fast Mitchell is, Usain Bolt holds the world record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 9.58 seconds.
On the gridiron, Mitchell is an explosive football player with the ball in his hands. C.E. King uses Mitchell as a dangerous wide receiver and returner. He is projected to be a wideout at the next level.
