Former Alabama Star, Dallas Cowboys Draft Pick Ends Career with Birmingham Stallions

Running back Bo Scarbrough is one of the most recognizable names in the UFL with his success playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Birmingham Stallion fans were excited to have him back from injury for the 2024 season. That appears to not be in the cards anymore. The Bama Standard Network posted on social media that Scarbrough has retired from football at the age of 27. Scarbrough is coming off a knee injury in the 2023 season opener for the Stallions, costing him the rest of the USFL season. He was picked up by Birmingham in the middle of the 2022 USFL season, running for 352 yards and one touchdown. The Stallions have won back-to-back USFL championships. The Dallas Cowboys selected Scarbrough in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He also signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders.
