The UFL 2026 season has had its fair share of controversies. A head coach was arrested before a game and forced his team to go with a different leader.
At the same time, a player from the D.C. Defenders starred in a curious moment when he celebrated a big play. He approached the fans and grabbed a beer from one of them and tried to drink it.
More recently, another in-game action situation caused plenty of attention on social media during the St. Louis Battlehawks and the Orlando Storm on Saturday.
Trey Dean, a former Florida player, raised plenty of eyebrows with a totally unnecessary tackle against one of his opponents. The safety hit Eliijah Badger after he caught a pass for a first down near the 45-yard-line.
He left the field after breaking a tackle, meaning that the play was over. For everybody except for Dean. The safety didn’t stop running and lowered his shoulder and head to hit Badge.
Trey Dean is absolutely crazy for this .
