You’ve just secured the quest “A Bad Feeling” from Celeste, and now you’re on the hunt for an ARC Probe or Courier. Question though? What the heck is this, and where can you find them? These things are scattered around, and half the time you’ll walk past one without realizing it. But once you know what to look for—and where—they’re some of the easiest loot grabs in the game. Let’s break it down.
ARC Probes look like missiles jammed into the ground or crash-landed sideways. Couriers are bigger, boxier, kinda flying saucer-esque, and easier to spot (yay for eyesight everywhere). Both emit thick black smoke, so if you see a plume on the horizon, go check it out. Probes also beep like they’re trying to annoy you into finding them. Unfortunately, it works, but yay for signal cues.
Pro tip: Couriers are more reliable. They have set spawn points, while Probes can airdrop mid-match. You’ll literally see them fly down and land. If you’re trying to clear “A Bad Feeling,” go for a Courier first.
These spots are consistent, so if you’re doing a loop, hit them all.
Probes are more random, but they drop in hot—watch the skies.
Completing “A Bad Feeling” nets you:
Not bad for a quick loot run. And even after the quest, keep grabbing these—they’re packed with high-quality materials and gear, and they’re easy to loot once you know the signs.
ARC Probes and Couriers are Arc Raiders’ version of “free if you’re paying attention.” They’re tied to early quests, but they stay valuable long after. So keep your eyes up, listen for the beep, and chase the smoke.
