Battlefield 6 Fixes Bugs One Step At a Time

Battlefield 6 has had a pretty wild first few days after launch, surpassing Black Ops 7 on the Steam charts, and hitting a peak of more than 740,000 concurrent players on launch day, according to SteamDB. However, there have been a few bugs and issues that players have experienced, including the Global Game Quota Exceeded error, missing in-game rewards, and issues with content installation. The devs have said they will address these issues one at a time. Here’s the full scoop on this whole ordeal.

Battlefield 6 Bugs 

On launch day, Battlefield 6 experienced some pretty big issues, like the missing in-game rewards players were promised when the game officially launched. These rewards consist of rewards from players buying the Phantom edition, the Open Beta rewards, and the Road to Battlefield 6 rewards. Another issue players ran into was when players were unable to start game modes due to missing DLC/content. These issues frustrated players, given that Battlefield 6 was so highly anticipated; however, the devs of the game have already responded to these issues.

The devs have already made statements, stating that they will be fixing these issues one at a time. Their official post from X reads,

We are monitoring some issues where some maps on the Breakthrough mode are not always filling with the intended player counts.

We are deploying adjustments on the backend to improve the consistency and create the best experience possible for this mode.

Though there have been many bugs since the game made its official debut last week, the prompt response of the game’s devs is a good sign of faith towards players. Personally, I’m glad the devs are hard at work on their end to make gameplay as smooth as possible for their large following. Battlefield 6 is available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It’s been out for a few days now, and though players have been experiencing bugs here and there, the devs are hard at work fixing them one at a time.
