Black Panther is part of an extensive and growing list of characters in Marvel Rivals. While some heroes take down enemies with ranged attacks, the king of Wakanda prefers to do his fighting up close. His Vibranium claws are deadly in the comics and on the battlefield in the game. Here is a full breakdown of all his skills and abilities in Marvel Rivals.
Black Panther’s best base stat is his health. He is one of the beefier duelists, and with his bonus health abilities, he can be hard to take down in battle. This is essential as his attacks are all close range, meaning he has to be up close and personal with his enemies. His basic attack is his Vibrainum Claws. The stats for his basic attack are below.
Black Panther may not have the most exciting abilities, but when they are used correctly, they are sneaky good. Many of the abilities combo together, instantly refreshing each other to create massive damage. His abilities make him a character that wants to get up in your face and use his healing and max health boosts to stay alive in the thick of battle. If his health does get low, his passive boosts his damage to make him even more deadly. The goal is to isolate opponents and rip them to shreds before darting away. Here is a list of all the abilities and stats.
His ultimate ability, Bast’s Descent, takes a little bit of set up. At face value, it doesn’t seem all that great. However, when the Vibranium Mark is applied, this attack can be devastating. Black Panther can go through a string of refreshes on Spirit Rend, attacking opponents and gaining max health. This ultimate takes a little bit of setup but, when done right, can swing the tide of battle in seconds.
Black Panther is all about sequencing his attacks in the correct order. It makes him one of the trickier heroes, but if you are able to get the steps down, he can be devastating. The first step is to apply Vibranium Mark to as many enemies as possible with Spear Toss or Spinning Kick. Then, you can chain attacks together, refreshing the abilities to gain health and deal damage. He will probably be the first character into a fight but also the first one to leave.
While there are ways to buff his health, he is susceptible to ranged attacks without cover. If he is cornered and there is no escape, his health will dwindle quickly. His Subtle Step ability gives some additional sight, as the double jump can scout ahead, but overall, this character relies on callouts from teammates. Pick your spots, and don’t be too aggressive, or you will end up dead really quickly.
Black Panther can be a very fun hero to play in Marvel Rivals. However, he can also be very frustrating in the wrong hands. If you have a teammate who is constantly rushing in and dying, that hinders what the team can do overall. Apply the mark and chain together massive combos with this character to dominate the battlefield.
