Company of Heroes 3 is getting its first major update on March 30, 2023, which opens the store and introduces daily as well as weekly challenges to the real-time strategy game.
Patch 1.1.0 is enabling players to customize their units with additional skins, which can be purchased from the in-game store with War Bonds, a premium currency only obtainable with real money, or Merit, which you can earn by completing those new challenges.
Here are some examples of the skins you can expect:
Challenges can be completed in multiplayer matches or by playing co-op games against the AI. Dailies refresh at 5pm PT / 8pm ET / 1am BST / 2am CEST every day, Weeklies each Saturday at the same time.
Relic Entertainment will reveal the full patch notes for Company of Heroes update 1.1.0, dubbed Operation Sapphire Jackal, once it’s gone live, and we’ll keep you updated here. In the meantime you can check out the preliminary patch notes.
Dev note: Though this update does not include what we consider a “full” balance pass, we have made several changes to help shake up multiplayer and co-op. We’ll be keeping an eye on your feedback and matches and will roll out further balance adjustments in a timely fashion.
