The Spring Series for COWZA has begun this week. Seven teams have signed up for the lengthy competition. Many of those who played in the Autumn Cup are missing this time around. Two notable participants in Inglorious Blasters (Autumn Cup Winners) and SV Vanquish did not sign up for the competition. Who will rise and take IB’s place while they are missing?
Seven teams have signed up for the COWZA x #ACGLPlays Spring Series. With the number of teams, there is only one group this time around, meaning everyone will face each other once during the event. The teams in alphabetical order are:
Each team is scheduled to play in six of the seven weeks of play. Teams may reschedule their matches at any point during the tournament’s duration.
Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6
Week 7
The Inglorious Blasters are missing from this tournament, leaving room for someone to take their place, at least for the time being. Anomaly and Pink Salamanders were second and third in the Autumn Cup, respectively. They will be eyeing a victory this time around.
Monarch 5 Knights are another team with their eyes on first place. They have contended with Inglorious Blasters and won previous tournaments (like the Sunburst Cup). They are a team to keep their eyes on for the duration of the Spring Series.
A new team that might steal all the glory is WBZ: Dream Eaters ZA. Featuring players who have won previous European tournaments and competed at a high level in FaceIT, DreamEaters might steal the thunder from the more established COWZA rosters.
