The massive Destiny 2 livestream for Edge of Fate has stirred excitement in the community. The reveal for the upcoming year of Destiny 2 is nearly here, but someone appeared to make an error on the Bungie Store. The Destiny 2 Year of Prophecy Collector’s Edition was updated on the Store earlier than it should have been. With the leak comes plenty of information for the community to divulge.
It is not the first time the Year of Prophecy Collector’s Edition has been leaked on the Bungie Store. At that time, there were no details on the site as the webpage was blank and taken down soon after. However, this leak contained product information, including expansion names and all digital and physical items.
While we knew the name of the first expansion (Edge of Fate), Renegades is the name of the second expansion (previously named Codename: Behemoth). The Collector’s Edition has both expansions, the season passes, and digital and physical items. The list of digital and physical items in the Year of Prophecy Collector’s Edition is:
The digital content for Edge of Fate is likely to arrive for players on May 9th, 2025. The expected arrival date for the physical items is July 15th, 2025. With that date in mind, it almost confirms that Edge of Fate launches on the same day.
Some other details on the page:
With the likely release date being July 15th, players may have a problem with the new raid. If the raid release follows the same pattern as previous releases, the raid will be at a similar time to the GCX event. It will cause significant problems for players as they will have to decide between the event and the raid, something no one will want to do. While the dates are not confirmed, the hope is that either the release date changes or Bungie has planned for the GCX event and will schedule the raid release accordingly.
