Destiny 2 Edge of Fate: Outer Steppes Strangelet Walkthrough

After completing the Exile’s Accord and Central Academy questlines, players progress to the next step of the story in Destiny 2. Players do not have a choice of where to go if they want to progress the Edge of Fate storyline. Players are tasked with meeting one of Lodi’s contacts to progress further. Below is the walkthrough of how to obtain the Outer Steppes Strangelet in the Edge of Fate.

Destiny 2 Edge of Fate: Outer Steppes Walkthrough

While players move towards the contact, Lodi notices she is missing and her office is ransacked. Kill the Stand and Stasis Exiles to progress further. Make your way closer to the contact’s potential position to meet a Brig. Defeating it drops an Arc charge that allows you to remove the barrier. Inside the room is an Exiled Hermit. Once his health reaches 50%, you will need to use Matterspark to charge pylons. Doing so gives players access to destroy generators. Access the Terminal and flip a switch to remove his shield. Once the Hermit is dead, you gain the Acceleron and locate Dr Carnahan.

Edge of Fate: Morphology Walkthrough

In this mission, you chase Felciks, who stole Mattermorph. After clearing some Exiles, Felciks stops in an area. To remove his shield, players must use Matterspark to charge a pylon. It spawns relics that you can throw at him to break the shield. Two relics are enough to take the shield down. Felciks drops artifacts the more you damage him.

After phasing Felciks, you can progress into the next area with Matterspark. Continue to chase him and repeat the same process. You will need Matterspark and the Relocator to progress through some areas. After getting to the last part of Felcik’s health bar, you acquire Mattermorph. Use your melee keybind to move objects into different positions. Find Felciks and kill him to earn your rewards and complete the mission. Speak to Dr Carnahan to progress. Mattermorph is crucial to use to reach the next mission.
