The Solstice event is in full swing for Destiny 2. It is the first old event to take place in the new era of the game with the Edge of Fate. They have made significant changes to the way it works. There are three weapons available for players to farm, and all three are options for players to chase. If you have been increasing your power level, you can also get tier 4 and 5 versions of the weapons.
Three weapons drop for players during the Solstice Event:
Various activities drop these three weapons for players. If one of the bonus rewards says “Distorted Solstice Engram,” you will get a Solstice weapon if you meet the requirements of it.
Destiny 2 players are spoiled for choice when it comes to Solar Submachine guns. Bungie has presented another option, which is obtainable at tier 5. What makes it even better is that you can get multiple perks on it thanks to tiered weapons. Heal Clip is the best perk in the left column, but Attrition Orbs is another option. In the right column, Incandescent is the best perk, but Burning Ambition and Chaos Reshaped are not far behind. For PvP, you want Lone Wolf and Target Lock for the best chance to eliminate your opponents.

Fortunate Star is the lowest priority of the three weapons. That is mainly down to how good the other two are. There is plenty of Void synergy for players to use. Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds are ideal for Void synergy, but Dragonfly creates more explosions, while Archer’s Tempo increases DPS. Bows in PvP are significantly weaker than most weapon archetypes, and Fortunate Star does not offer PvP Perks. The best you can go with is Archer’s Tempo and Archer’s Gambit, but we would avoid using the bow.

Area Denial Frame Grenade Launchers have dominated the PvE meta alongside Rocket Assisted Sidearms. Festival Flight is the first Strand Area Denial Frame. Depending on your use case, you have plenty of options in the left column. Envious Arsenal for damage rotations, Blast Distributor for Grenade Builds, or Demolitionist for Grenade and weapon damage rotations. Attrition Orbs offers the best utility in the right column, while One For All gives the best damage bonus. Elemental Honing might work for the ideal setups, but it requires players to build into it. You will rarely use this weapon in PvP, but if you do, look for Blast Distributor and Frenzy.
