The final week before the Edge of Fate in Destiny 2 has arrived. Players must perform their last-minute preparation for the new expansion. The weekly reset brought vital changes that everyone should take note of. Players have more chances to earn loot for the Rite of the Nine event and have access to all of the expansions for Destiny 2, without needing to pay for them.

Destiny 2: Lootapalooza Week

The Rite of the Nine Dungeons and Episode: Heresy activities have a chance to drop additional loot this week. For players wanting to chase these weapons, now is the time to do so. Additionally, in the Rite of the Nine Social event, at the top of the spire, players will find a portal. Inside here, you can focus on specific weapons. There are two chests for each weapon version, the base (325 Nonary Manifolds) and the adept (450 Nonary Manifolds). Note that you have a daily focus limit. Players can get a free Nonary Engram each day and pick up a quest from The Emissary, which allows you to complete a triumph on the Eternal Seal.

All Expansions Are Free

From the weekly reset yesterday until July 22nd, all expansions for Destiny 2, except for the Edge of Fate, are free to play. Players can get all the weapons and armor from expansions that they do not have. If you have ever thought about trying Destiny 2, but are worried about the price of the expansions, now is the best time to try the game. You only have two weeks, so you should get in as much time as possible, since there is plenty of content for players to explore.

Developer Insight

Bungie released a Developer Insight video yesterday. We got further information on Orin leaving her job as the Emissary and who might take her place. The decision is the catalyst for the new saga in Destiny 2. The video recapped how Kepler and the World tiers will work. We also got to see more footage of the destination.

Exotic Class Item Ornaments

The Bright Dust Store has a surprise for players. Each class gets an ornament for their Exotic Class Items. The ornaments cost 1500 Bright Dust, so you might need to be wise on which one you get. We recommend you grab one for your favorite class, as this is the first ornament for Exotic Class Items that you do not need to spend Silver on.
