Destiny 2: Wilderflight God Roll Guide

Wilderflight is a Void Double Fire Frame Grenade Launcher. While it may remain second-best to Area Denial Frames in most use cases, the perk pool is enticing. The new Origin Trait on Rite of Nine weapons, Gravity Well, makes all weapons dropping from this event a bigger draw.

Wilderflight has twelve perks, six in each column. The left column has Auto-Loading Holster, Demolitionist, Envious Arsenal, Repulsor Brace, Reverberation, and Slideshot. The right column perks are Bait and Switch, Destabilizing Rounds, Frenzy, Lead From Gold, Vorpal Weapon, and Withering Gaze.

PvE God Roll

Wilderflight has three predominant use cases in PvE based on its perks. The first is for damage rotations, where players can utilize the combination of Envious Arsenal and Withering Gaze for guaranteed reload and a fifteen percent weaken. The second use is utility-based. With Disorienting Grenades, players can keep the entire room blinded. Slideshot increases the uptime of the Disorienting Grenades, while Lead From Gold will keep ammo topped up. A fan-favorite perk combination for most Void weapons is Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds, perfect for clearing rooms while staying healthy. Double-fire Grenade Launchers are not the best for clearing enemies, but it is an option.

PvP God Roll

With Wilderflight being a PvE-focused weapon, there are few options for PvP. The best choice in the left column is Slideshot. The reload and boosts to range and stability make for higher uptime and a greater chance to land your grenades. Vorpal Weapon is the right-column perk. While it will not always be active, the increased damage to Guardians in their super state will help take them down before they eliminate you.

Attaining Wilderflight

There are a handful of ways to acquire the Grenade Launcher. The first is through the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon in Rite of the Nine. The Persys Encounter and bonus chests throughout the dungeon have a chance to drop the weapon. Players can attune to Wilderflight in The Third Spire. The chest in the Third Spire can reward players with Wilderflight. There are four versions of Wilderflight: Base, Base Shiny, Adept, and Adept Shiny. Adept versions can only drop from the Third Spire chest and the Ultimatum mode of Spire of the Watcher.
