Diablo Immortal has been in the limelight a lot recently, with the Diablo x Berserk collaboration making waves in the gaming and dark fantasy industries. In April, the mobile game launched the Prince of Freedom expansion, which delivered new content and a plethora of other new experiences. A new update, which dropped today on May 13, is the latest in a series of patches for the recent expansion. While not the last update of the year, this patch will bring some additional content for the popular Diablo mobile entry that should keep players engaged.
On May 13, Blizzard released an update for Diablo Immortal. This update covers a variety of different changes that players should feel bring value to their experience. First, the Blizzard team is offering new events that will fill in time for players who are itching for more content before the next DLC. Conqueror (May 15-May 22), All Clans on Deck (May 17-May 24), Wild Brawl (May 22-May 31), and Shields of the Hearth (May 24-May 31) each offer unique opportunities for activities and rewards for players. Matriarch’s Retribution is also an event in the update, but is already available to players.
With the content update that already came on May 1, when the Diablo Immortal x Berserk collaboration dropped, players should have a lot of new experiences to play with. However, additional updates are coming to the game as well with the May 13 release. As Game Rant shares:
“One of the changes will be to check a player’s combat power before they enter one of Diablo Immortal’s dungeons, preventing them from being grouped in a dungeon they can’t play. With the upcoming update, players will be able to remove players from their party who are AFK or inactive, as well as those who are harassing or making inappropriate remarks. Spectral Allies can be summoned in Inferno Difficulty dungeons, Cain’s Workshop will have an additional Horadric Altar, and Family Expeditions can be canceled early.”
Along with these changes, there are also a series of bug fixes and patches that clean up the game a bit for users to make the experience cleaner. The update dropped on May 13 in all markets except North America, where the update became available on May 14. For a complete list of Diablo Immortal fixes, check the link here.
Diablo Immortal is nowhere close to being done for 2025. After all content for the Prince of Freedom is released by June, an upcoming expansion will be ready for July. This expansion, Flesh Harvest, will deliver a whole plethora of additional content, including quest classes, zones, and events. A fourth expansion, First and Last King, will be launched in October. Fans of Diablo Immortal certainly have plenty to look forward to, and hopefully, the current update will fill the time and keep users coming back every day while they await future exciting reveals.
