The ongoing court battle between Microsoft and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over the acquisition of Activision Blizzard has been yielding several spicy internal documents from both the Xbox maker and its rival Sony, but a new wave of unsealed papers stemming from Microsoft is truly remarkable. One of these contained a release schedule for Microsoft’s upcoming video game projects running until the Financial Year 2024, confirming Starfield DLC, Dishonored 3, and Remasters for Fallout 3 and Oblivion, among other games.
As you can see on the schedule below, Microsoft has several Remasters planned for classic titles, wants to continue the expansion of Elder Scrolls Online with annual add-ons, and is set to add entries to some of franchises: Dishonored 3 and a Ghostwire: Tokyo sequel are on the agenda. DOOM has a rather prominent place as well. There is also a secret “Licensed IP Game” in the pipeline, which could be anything.
It seems like this schedule is from a few years ago, however, since Redfall, Starfield, and the still unreleased Indiana Jones game are listed under their originally planned release windows here, not the actual release dates they got delayed to.
This is not a complete schedule in any case, though, since several pieces we already know of are missing: 4X turn-based strategy game Ara: History Untold is not named and neither is the upcoming Age of Empires 4 expansion, which should both appear in the Console/PC section. This may indicate that these projects simply joined the pipeline later or that this is merely an abbreviated list of planned releases as opposed to a complete overview.
Aside from these juicy confirmations, court documents revealed the details of the all-digital Xbox Series X refresh Microsoft is planning. The Gen 10 Xbox is planned to be launched in 2028, other documents showed.

Browns make curious decision with rookie QB Shedeur Sanders
The Cleveland Browns are giving Shedeur Sanders special treatment in training camp, but it's not the type of favoritism the fifth-round pick would necessarily want. Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN, Sanders is the only Browns quarterback who has not been taking reps with the first-team offense during OTAs or the first two practices of training camp. Former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett, veteran Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel have all split reps with the first team. Despite being asked to throw passes to members of the equipment staff amid a shortage of professional pass-catchers for a four-quarterback roster, Sanders said he's thankful for the opportunity to show the Browns coaching staff his talents. "I feel like that it's not in my control, so I'm not going to think about that or even have that in my thought process of why it is," Sanders said to a question as to why he's not getting first-team reps. "There's a lot of people who want to have the opportunity to be at this level, and I'm here and I'm thankful to have the opportunity. So, whenever that is, that is." Sanders, 23, believes that he can contribute more to the Browns than what the coaching staff is asking of him. "It doesn't make me feel down or left out because I know who I am as a person," Sanders said. "I know who I am as an individual and I know what I could bring to this team. So, I can never feel less than any circumstance." The Browns selected Sanders with the No. 144 pick in April's draft. As a player whom many draft analysts thought was a first-round talent, Cleveland took what could be the steal of the draft in the fifth round. It's curious why the Browns aren't giving Sanders a shot with the first team early in training camp before the quarterback race becomes more serious. Cleveland should absolutely see what Sanders has to offer this summer. Flacco, 40, isn't a long-term solution at the position. Pickett failed in Pittsburgh. The Browns need to gauge what rookies Gabriel and Sanders can do with the first team. Having Sanders throw balls to the equipment staff is a waste of everyone's time. But then again, Cleveland has wasted plenty of quarterbacks.
Mets Unlikely to Trade for $56 Million Pitcher After New Report
The New York Mets are a half-game ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies for first place in the NL East ahead of Friday night's bout with the San Francisco Giants, but they are still one of the most vulnerable teams in baseball. New York has a laundry list of pitchers on the IL, including Tylor Megill (elbow), Griffin Canning (Achilles), and Max Kranick (flexor). However, it did acquire southpaw hurler Gregory Soto from the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. The veteran is 0-2 with a 3.96 ERA over 45 appearances this season, including 18 holds and one save. While the Mets could stand to add more healthy arms, they probably won't get a certain prominent hurler on the Miami Marlins, via The New York Post's Mike Puma. "The Mets are among the teams that have checked in on Sandy Alcantara," he reported on Friday. "The asking price is steep. The Mets haven’t ruled out adding a starting pitcher, but view it as a tough add given the market." Alcantara is 5-9 with a 6.66 ERA over 20 starts this season. The 29-year-old won the NL Cy Young Award in 2022 after going 14-9 with a 2.28 ERA in 32 starts. His current contract extension has a $21 million club option for 2027, and he's scheduled to make $17.3 million in both 2025 and 2026. Right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes (8-5, 3.48 ERA) will start for New York against San Francisco right-hander Logan Webb (9-7, 3.08 ERA) on Friday.
Report: Steelers Brought In Big Name Safety For Free Agent Visit
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been looking to improve their safety depth after trading away Minkah Fitzpatrick. On Day 2 of training camp, they signed Chuck Clark, a safety that previously played for the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. He will now be teaming up with another ex-Raven in DeShon Elliott. Pittsburgh has been loading their defense with players whom Baltimore let walk in free agency over the past two offseasons. It continues with Clark, and it could potentially keep going, with more players still available. Ari Meirov recently posted that on the same day as the Clark signing, the Steelers brought in safety Marcus Williams for a visit as well. Williams spent the previous three seasons with the Ravens, where he has dealt with injuries and inconsistencies. He has yet to play in more than 11 games in a season with Baltimore, which is likely why he is still available as July comes to a close. He had just 33 tackles and two passes defended in 2024, as he appears to be on the decline at this point in his career. Williams would most likely be a depth piece in this case. Elliott will be one starter, and there will be a training camp battle between Clark and Juan Thornhill for the other spot. Even with three capable safeties being on the roster, you can never have too much depth, so bringing in someone like Williams likely wouldn't hurt at all, especially with Thornhill's injury history. The more, the merrier. Steelers Keep Going To Ravens Well For Defense As mentioned before, Williams would join Clark and Elliott as former Raven safeties to wear the Black and Gold as they all reunite in Pittsburgh. They are not the only ones to switch sides in this heated rivalry, however. The Steelers have also signed Malik Harrison during free agency in 2025 to add to the linebacker core as a run-stuffer. Jeremiah Moon was claimed off waivers from Baltimore by Pittsburgh early in the 2024 offseason. The Steelers also grabbed a Baltimore linebacker to be the quarterback of their defense. Patrick Queen was given a three-year deal in the 2024 free agency period to be the primary communicator of the unit. While that did not work out too well that year, hopefully can be better with another year in the system while also being surrounded by more of his former teammates from the Chesapeake.
Stars rival pulls off huge trade, sending first-round pick to a conference opponent
Stars' division rival Colorado Avalanche swings trade with Sharks, moving former first-rounder Oskar Olausson. The Dallas Stars will be watching closely as the Colorado Avalanche reshaped their roster with a move that could impact the Central Division playoff race, trading former first-round pick Oskar Olausson to the San Jose Sharks in a prospect swap that sends Daniil Gushchin to Colorado. This trade, announced on Friday, is viewed as a classic "change of routine" deal for two young forwards who needed fresh opportunities. For the Avalanche, it's a chance to add Gushchin, a skilled Russian winger who has a lot of potential. For the Sharks, it's a shot at reviving Olausson's career in a system that's still rebuilding and has a ton of young players. Olausson, drafted by Colorado in the first round in 2021, has struggled to secure a full-time NHL role. Last season, he scored 11 goals and 26 points in 61 games with the AHL's Colorado Eagles. In San Jose, he's expected to see a much bigger role. How the Oskar Olausson trade between the Colorado Avalanche and San Jose Sharks could affect the Dallas Stars Gushchin, meanwhile, has been a bright spot for San Jose's development system. The 5-foot-8 forward has tallied 105 points in 112 AHL games over the past two seasons and earned 12 NHL games this year. One Western Conference scout told reporters, "Both these guys needed new homes, and this could quietly be one of those trades that pays off in a year or two." For the Dallas Stars, this swap might not seem like headline news now, but it could tip the balance in the Central Division if Gushchin quickly earns NHL minutes in Colorado's middle six. I think Dallas will be watching closely, because any added scoring punch for the Avalanche means the Stars may need to tweak their own depth to keep pace.
