1. Gold Chest & Purple Secret Key

• Travel to the castle on the upper left of the map.
• Flip your shield at the padlock at the top of the front gate, then head down the left path and climb up to the upper platform to retrieve the gold chest.
• Travel up the tower higher to fall through a locked room to retrieve the purple secret key.

2. Life Sigil #1

• Upon reaching the Rocket Launcher pod, look to the rocky pillars on your left.
• Use a shield jump to access the lower pillar
• Climb up to collect the Life Sigil and some gold.

3. Cyber Demon Toy

• In the bottom-left corner of the map, near a shielded Ruby statue.
• Use the nearby jump pad to launch yourself to a floating island where the Cyber Demon toy awaits.

4. Ruby #1

• Use the purple key at the bottom-left side of the map, next to the Cyber Demon toy, to unlock the room.
• Engage the enemies inside and complete the gore pillar challenge to remove the barrier over the Ruby statue.

5. Life Sigil #2

• From the last position, head towards the cave located just to the left of the center of the map.
• Clear the demons within and take a shield jump to access a ledge where the Life Sigil lies.

6. Ruby #2

• Right before the hell cannon boss fight in the top-left corner, go down the path to the right to discover a purple key door.
• In there, kill the enemies and acquire it beside the door, which returns to the cave.

7. Prince Ahzrak Codex Entry

• Return to the entrance of the zone and go directly forward to find a castle on the hill at about the center of the map.
• Go in with the purple key to acquire the codex entry.

8. Life Sigil #3

• Another is at the ledge under the path to the right, next to the Sentinel Shrine at the top of the map.
• You can reach this location before the final boss fight!

9. The Forsaken Plains Codex Entry

• Head right up the hill at the entrance of the zone along the path.
• Enter the building that contains the Sentinel Shrine
• Proceed through the tunnel, it’ll be on the balcony.

10. Ruby #3

• After obtaining the previous codex, return to the hall and jump on the spike platform.
• Ride it up into a concealed room with the final statue.

11. Nightmare Cycler Weapon Skin

• Go to the leader boss arena at the top-right corner of the map
• Find a nook that has the Nightmare skin of the Cycler weapon.

12. Reverent Pulverizer Weapon Skin

• Complete the Exterminator challenge by eliminating two gore nests hidden around the map.
• One is near the Ruby that you have already collected.
• The other is near the hill over the top-right hell cannon.

• Retrieve the Purple Key as quickly as possible: Purple keys recur a lot in Doom: The Dark Ages, and they’re very important. Get the key ASAP.
• Explore Thoroughly: Forsaken Plains is one big area with lots of secret paths/ledges. Explore everything!
