EA College Football 27 Announces Huge Roster Update
EA Sports

EA Sports just dropped a nuke on College Football 27 players.

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, EA announced that a huge roster update is coming to College Football 27, bringing more than 1,900 additional players to the game. The update is scheduled to arrive Thursday, Aug. 27, giving fans plenty of new names to look for across college football’s rosters.

EA didn’t reveal the complete list of more than 1,900 additions, but it did spotlight four players ahead of Thursday’s update, including newcomers at Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama and Vanderbilt.

EA College Football 27 Roster Update Adds 1,900+ Players

According to EA Sports’ announcement, more than 1,900 players will be added to College Football 27 when the roster update arrives Thursday.

EA highlighted four additions ahead of the update:

Henry leads EA’s highlighted group at 84 overall, while Washington follows at 83. Crowell will enter the game as an 82 overall halfback, while Curtis received an 81 overall rating at quarterback.

The four players are only a small sample of what is coming and should not be considered the four highest-rated additions unless EA confirms that distinction.

More College Football 27 Players Are Coming Thursday

EA has continued updating College Football 27 since its July release, with previous patches addressing gameplay, Dynasty and other areas of the game. This time, however, the focus is firmly on refreshing the game’s rosters.

The full scope of the additions should become clearer when the update arrives Thursday. For now, College Football 27 players know four of the names officially joining the game, with more than 1,900 players set to be added as part of the roster update.
