The Guardian class is a specialized melee build, essentially. He specializes in stamina and has the highest HP of all the starting characters. You will find, as you experience Elden Ring Nightreign, that the better a Guardian can fit into and stick to their role as a tank, the better. The optimal Guardian build is simply true to the name.
