For the 1-year anniversary of Indigo Park chapter 1’s release date, the series’ creator and lead developer, Mason “UniqueGeese” Myers, has announced that a teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Chapter 2 is premiering later today. The trailer will premiere at 4 pm EDT (1 pm PDT, 8 pm UTC), after which the development team plans to replay Chapter 1 on a live stream. Chapter 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but Myers has teased additional announcements coming later this week.

An Anniversary Announcement

Indigo Park Chapter 1 was released on May 18th of 2024, to much enthusiasm and acclaim from players. Following the release of Chapter 1, Myers announced that he and the team were already working on Chapter 2, with a Kickstarter created to raise funds for its development. The Kickstarter was fully funded within a month of its creation, owing to the excitement and enthusiasm of its fan base.

Earlier today, on the official Indigo Park Discord server, Myers announced that the teaser trailer for Chapter 2 will be premiering later today. Following the premiere of the trailer, he and the development team will be hosting a live stream where they will replay Chapter 1.

More Announcements to Come

Today’s announcement isn’t the only thing that Myers has teased. He will also be hosting an Indigo Park panel at MomoCon 2025, at 7 pm EDT on Saturday, May 24th, which will include (among other things) a reveal relating to Chapter 2. In a post on his Twitter/X account, he clarified that the trailer releasing later today is a look at the game itself, while the MomoCon panel will include a look at the world of the game.

Final Thoughts

The end of Indigo Park Chapter 1 saw the player entering the portion of the park dedicated to Finley, as well as a brief glimpse of a monstrous version of the shy serpent. It’s thus very likely that the monstrous version of Finley will be the antagonist for Chapter 2, much like the monstrous version of Mollie was the primary antagonist in Chapter 1. With Finley debuting in a large aquarium, this could mean that Chapter 2 will feature underwater sections where the player will be chased by Finley.

There are many story threads introduced in Chapter 1, between what led the titular park to be abandoned and why Rambley and Llyod had a falling-out. With Myers stating that Indigo Park is planned to have 5 chapters, these threads aren’t likely to be resolved in Chapter 2, but there could be more hints and information to find while exploring the ruined park. Myers has also stated previously that he hopes to get the game’s rating up to an M by Chapter 2, and that the second chapter is intended to be between 2 and 2.5 hours in length.
