Bilibili Gaming and G2 Esports have met numerous times in recent international events. BLG has been on the winning side most of the time. G2 has another chance to even out the record at First Stand. However, they struggled to match up to BLG, falling 3-0. Game three should have been over sooner, but BLG’s late-game struggles emerged. BLG fans’ concerns will remain for First Stand following that game.

Slight Control For BLG

Bin Is A Monster

The Infernal Soul fight was on a knife-edge. It starts off looking in G2’s favor, but it is a 1-for-2 trade. Bin’s Public Execution lands on SkewMond, and he kills the last three members. BLG takes the Infernal Soul and Baron at the same time. G2 tries to defend their base, but all they can do is kill ON.

Misplayed Teamfights

G2 and BLG engage in a skirmish in the bot river. Bin and BrokenBlade arrive to turn it into a team fight. G2 failed to execute the fight perfectly. They gave up three kills and only secured one. G2 is in a better position in the Chemtech Soul point fight. They manage to secure the objective. Instead of leaving, G2 goes back in for the fight. It starts with a kill on ON, but in the extended play, Caps and SkewMond die.

Caps goes too far on the Chemtech Soul fight and dies alongside BrokenBlade. BLG prevents the Soul, but gets nothing more.

First Stand 2026: Player Summary

Image of BLG’s First Stand Roster, courtesy of LoL Esports

Bilibili Gaming

Bin – 7.0

Bin was the reason why BLG got an edge in the first game. He was also excellent on Gnar, but had little impact on the outcome of game three.

XUN – 7.7

XUN was solid in the series. He was constantly making plays happen for BLG. His game-three impact in the early parts was pivotal in building a lead.

Knight – 7.7

Knight got the better of Caps during the series. He kept the European mid-laner quiet throughout the series and earned two solo kills in game three.

Viper – 7.3

Viper has yet to show his best performances at First Stand. His performance in the final games of the series was more like the Viper we know.

ON – 7.7

ON was certainly on in this series. His Alistar was incredible to carry BLG in teamfights of the second game. Overall, he had the most impact on this First Stand series to earn the Total Apex player of the series award.

G2 Esports

BrokenBlade – 5.3

BrokenBlade was the shining light for G2 in this series. He earned a solo kill on Bin in game one. His K’Sante was the only reason why G2 had a chance in the final game.

SkewMond – 5.0

SkewMond was often the victim of his team’s underperformance. He had a decent series and helped to ignite a potential comeback.

Caps – 4.0

Caps’ performance in the series was his worst in a long time. The European mid-laner had a rough time against Knight.

Hans Sama – 4.0

Hans Sama’s series started well, but tailed off. His laning phase on Caitlyn was disastrous in game three. His ults on Varus also did not land, leading to missed opportunities.

Labrov – 4.0

Similar to Hans Sama, he was decent to open the series. However, he misplayed the laning phase in game three and had a rough Neeko game.

First Stand Impact

BLG has qualified for the Knockout Stage of First Stand. They will wait the semi-final for the second seed from Group B. G2 will have one more chance against BFX to advance.
