Genshin Impact 6.1 Leaks – Sources Reveal Nefer’s Secrets

Version 6.0 is out, and Nod Krai is open for business, and we already have leaks for 6.1. For those who haven’t done the Archon Quest yet, hop to it.  You’re missing out.  For those you have, I hope you’re as impressed as I am.  In either case, the time has come to start looking ahead.  While 6.1 will only bring 1 new character, if you are interested in pulling for them, you might as well start prepping now.

All leaks are subject to change.  As such, a full, in-depth, definitive analysis of a character, weapon, artifact, or event would be ill-advisable at this time.  To that end, I’ll be covering the base-level premise of each character so that you can make a moderately informed decision on which character(s) you want to prepare for.

Nefer: A Different Use for Bloom

The next 5-Star character to be introduced, Nefer is a Dendro Catalyst DPS who focuses on the Lunar-Bloom reaction.  However, instead of creating Dendro Core so they detonate, Nefer absorbs the cores to empower her Elemental Burst damage.  When she uses her Elemental Skill, she will gain a special Charged Attack, which is how she absorbs the Cores.

If you are looking to build for her now, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, EM, and ATK are your best options.  Like Lauma, Nefer uses Moonfall Silver to level up.  Her Talent Book is Elysium (Tues/Fri), her Weekly Boss drop is the Rook chess piece, and her Overworld Boss…has yet to be released.  Sorry.

Reliquary of Truth

Nefer’s personal weapon.  It has CRIT DMG as its Secondary Stat and CRIT Rate as its Passive Stat.  It also gives 2 Buff, one after the wielder uses their Elemental Skill and one after the wielder deals Lunar-Bloom damage.  When both buffs are active at the same time, their effects are increased.

Sacrificer’s Staff

A new 4-Star Polearm.  How we will obtain it is still unknown.  It increases the wielder’s ATK and Energy Recharge after an Elemental Skill hits an enemy.  This can occur even when the wielder is Off-Field, so it’s good for Sub DPS characters (Ineffa).

Froststar

4-Star Catalyst.  Method of obtainment as of yet unclear.  Gives 2 buffs, one after a Charged Attack hits an enemy and one after an Elemental Skill hits an enemy.

Event Overview

Obviously, we will have the continuation of the Archon Quest.  The Flagship Event is a return to Sumeru to reunite with friends and investigate some strange incident that has occurred in the desert.

There will also be 2 events in Natlan.  The 1^st has to do with Saurians.  The 2^nd is a “dance exchange” between the People of the Springs and the Flower-Feather Clan.

Finally, since Version 6.0 has the Double Domain Rewards event, 6.1 should have the Double Blossoms event.

There will also be a new Overworld Boss, the Frostnight Herra.  It will drop the level-up material for Nefer.
