Ghost of Yotei has a lot of different puzzles, quests, and items you can find in the game. There’s no shortage of things you can do within the game, especially with all the puzzles you can do in the game. The Nakajima Ice Cavern Hideout Puzzle is one puzzle players will come across during their time in the Teshio Ridge region in the game. Here is how to solve the Nakajima Ice Cavern Hideout Puzzle in Ghost of Yotei.
The Nakajima Ice Cavern Hideout Puzzle is located in the Teshio Ridge region of Ezo. Players will come across this puzzle while they make their way to Sarobetsu Lake, where the Nakajima Sake House is. If you head west, you will spot an entrance that is blocked by two fox statues and the Kitsune puzzle. These hideout puzzles always involve rotating the fox statues into a correct position for the specific hideout, and this one is no different. So, how do you solve this puzzle?
The correct positioning of the fox statues would have them facing away from each other, opening up a gap in the wall you can crawl through. You jump up and then grapple onto a platform. There will be a wall that you have to climb, which will take you to the second Kitsune puzzle. Turn the fox statue twice to make it face the light in front of you. This will trigger ropes to spawn and will take you to the Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout.
Once you arrive at the hideout, there will be swarms of enemies that would be best to take care of using a stealth approach, as well as taking continuous Cold damage unless you equip Taro’s Armor, which reduces fire and cold damage. Once the enemies are dealt with, you can safely do the final Kitsune puzzle at the hideout. Turn the fox statues so that they will be facing each other, and this will launch a rope across a gap, allowing you to get on another platform. Following the path will lead you to an Altar of Reflection and a Nine-Tails Puzzle box, effectively clearing the area.
