God of War: Ragnarok is an amazing achievement, and we said as much in our God of War: Ragnarok review. But it wouldn’t be possible without the incredible cast of voice and motion capture actors that bring the characters of the game to life. If one thing will stay with you after you finish the game, it will likely be these characters and their incredible performances.

Ragnarok is a triumph, and that would’ve been tough to achieve if it weren’t for these incredible actors. For all of Ragnarok’s main cast, just look through our list of characters and actors below.

Kratos voice actor – Christopher Judge

Christopher Judge is probably best known for his performance on Stargate SG-1 as Teal’c, but has been recently celebrated for his performance as Kratos in God of War 2018, and Black Panther in the 2020 Avengers game.

Atreus voice actor – Sunny Suljic

Sunny has been appearing in TV and movies since 2013, but Atreus is his defining voice acting role.

Thor voice actor – Ryan Hurst

Ryan Hurst is an established TV actor, with his performance in Ragnarok being particularly celebrated by fans.

Freya voice actor – Danielle Bisutti

A professional TV actor for more than two decades, Danielle Bisutti brings Freya to life.

Brok voice actor – Robert Craighead

An actor since the early ‘80s, Robert Craighead brings Brok to life, and has even starred in shows like It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia.

Sindri voice actor – Adam John Harrington

You might recognize Adam from LA Noire where he played Roy Earle. Like many other actors on this list, Adam is an experienced TV actor that you might recognize from a variety of shows.

Mimir voice actor – Alastair Duncan

Experienced voice Alastair Duncan has voiced video game characters going back to 2005’s Killer7. You might recognize him as Metal Gear Rising’s Senator Armstrong, or Shadow of Mordor’s Celebrimbor.

Angrboda voice actor – Laya DeLeon Hayes

Laya Hayes is an experienced voice actor mostly for children’s TV, including the Kung Fu Panda: Paws of Destiny series. In Ragnarok, she brings Angrboda to life.

Odin voice actor – Richard Schiff

Best known for playing Dr. Hamilton in Man of Steel and Eddie Carr in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Richard Schiff brings his experience and voice to Odin’s character in Ragnarok.

Thurd Thorsdottir voice actor – Mina Sundwall

An actor since 2010, Thurd is Mina’s first voice acting role after having played in multiple TV shows and movies.

Tyr voice actor – Ben Prendergast

You might recognize Ben Prendergast as Apex Legends’ Fuse, or Hades’ Patroclus. 

Heimdall voice actor – Scott Porter

Scott Porter also plays as Star-Lord across multiple video game appearances, such as Marvel Future Revolution, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Freyr voice actor – Brett Dalton

Brett Dalton is known for TV’s Agents of SHIELD, multiple classic Robot Chicken characters, and Until Dawn’s Michael.

Laufey / Faye voice actor – Deborah Ann Woll

Deborah Ann Woll is known for the Escape Room series, as well as for playing Karen Page on the 2015 DareDevil series. Faye is her first voice acting role.

Durlin voice actor – Usman Ally

Usman Ally plays Asav in Uncharted 4, as well as MODOK in the 2020 Avengers game. You may also recognize him as the Hook-Handed Man in A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Raeb voice actor – Bear McCreary

Bear McCreary is best known for being an experienced and award-winning composer, contributing to the soundtracks of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Battlestar Galactica. In Ragnarok he voices Raeb.

Ratatoskr voice actor – SungWon Cho

SungWon Cho, also known as YouTuber ProZD, has played in a number of video games, including Apotheon, Rune Factory 5, and Lost Judgment, in addition to plenty of online specials from popular creators.
