Helldivers 2 Declares Victory: ‘The Battle of Super Earth Is Won’ — What Next for the Illuminate?

No one believes in freedom more than those whose freedom has been taken away. In the galaxy of Helldivers 2, there are always those who threaten our democracy. Never has the Galactic War come so close to Super Earth as it has now. Your children will remember this day as the day you drove the Illuminate from our home. The battle for Super Earth is over, but the Galactic War continues, and as soon as we carry away our dead, we will seek out those responsible. The victory is ours, but the battle continues.

Perhaps you have been one of the proud defenders who have joined two or three friends in the co-op shooter PC and PS5 Arrowhead Game Studio Helldivers 2 game. When playing, you strap into a Helldiver suit, which is an elite class soldier who lives and dies for peace, liberty, and the galaxy’s Democracy. You never drop in alone but fly in with the best fighting equipment your galaxy can provide.

The mission has never been more dangerous or costly, as the alien race, the Illuminate, has aggressively assaulted our home planet of Super Earth. The battle is over, and the planet is all ours again. The Illuminate invasion has burned through its way all the way to our house. The cost of life is high as the Illuminate unleashed new enemies we have never seen before.

Cost of Victory

Through some of our largest cities, our scientists have analyzed the new threat. The first is the Stingray, which was the jet fighters that strafed our troops from above. Then there was the Crescent Overseer who barraged us. The last are the Fleshmobs. They seem to have been an experiment gone wrong where several body parts of the mindless Illuminate Voteless body parts were thrown together, making a new tank of zombie flesh.

Since the evation began, the loss of life is too great to be counted, and with the help of the Helldivers, freedom stands for the last two megacities, Prosperity City and Equality-on-Sea. There were also players who helped repair and keep the DSS (Democracy Space Station), which is back online. In the enemy’s retreat, they have fled not only Super Earth but also New Haven, Pilen V, and Widow’s Harbor. The Illuminate fled with their tail between their legs, where we have lost them.

What’s Next

Now that the battle is won, there is a truth about Arrowhead games and Helldivers 2: all the information given is part of the democracy of propaganda. The Illuminate have fled, but there are those who wish to follow them and introduce more of them to the business end of their blasters. The question is, what’s next for our Helldivers?

Chances are that with the Illuminate on the run, the Terminids, or the Automatons, have been neglected of our attention and might be expanding into our territory. It is also very possible that the Illuminate could return to their tactic of probing the southern part of our galaxy. There is also the chance that they weren’t probing what they were doing all that time, which was distracting before their assault on Super Earth.  Or could something more dangerous be coming?

Things Could Get Worse

Can you imagine if any two factions of the Terminids, Automations, or Illuminates’ joined forces against Democracy? Would the Helldivers be enough to save Super Earth again, or our outer colonies? Time will tell what Arrowhead will have in store for gamers, as there is sure to be more on the way for the cause of freedom.
