What Enhanced Features Will Be Available At Launch?

With the release of Hollow Knight Silksong and the Switch 2, players will be able to download the Silksong Upgrade Pack from the eShop, to unlock special features specifically for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. According to Team Cherry,

“For Nintendo Switch 2 players, after redeeming your Nintendo Switch key and downloading the game, you will additionally need to download the (free) Hollow Knight: Silksong Upgrade Pack from the eShop to unlock the platform’s enhanced features,”

These features include a 120Hz mode for the game, which means you can play the game at a higher frame rate at the cost of resolution. However, the cost is slight because better game performance, coupled with the high anticipation of the game, can lead to Hollow Knight Silksong winning game of the year, and I feel it is highly possible given what was already shown from the trailer and the demo at Gamescom this year.
