KT Rolster Versus FearX Recent Match History and Head-To-Head

KT has faced off against BFX three times this year. On all three occasions, KT emerged the victor with a 2-1 scoreline.

KT had a weak start to the year, only starting to turn it around in the final weeks of Rounds 1-2. They continued that form in the Road to MSI, being stopped by T1. During Rounds 3-5, they have an arduous task in the Legend Group. Their wins came against NS and T1. However, that series victory against T1 made them one of two teams to defeat the defending World Champions. BFX are coming off a Play-In stage, which saw them defeat DK and NS.

Can VicLa Stand Up to Bdd?

Each team has a different story in the mid lane. VicLa is the weakest player on his team, often being a reason for their losses. On the opposite side, Bdd has dragged KT to victories or kept them even against the best in the world. As a result, he earned a spot in the LCK 2nd team, beating out Faker and Zeka. The only midlaner performing better was Chovy. BFX will have troubles in this series if VicLa does not stand up to Bdd. BFX might need to bail him out to prevent Bdd from soaring ahead.

Will KT Slow Down BFX’s Pace?

BFX is the most aggressive team in the LCK. That is simultaneously their biggest strength and weakness. Teams can punish them for their overaggression, but need to be careful not to get sucked into that. KT must learn where the ideal spot is to take them down in this series. They can not get overwhelmed either, as they will give BFX everything they want.

BFX should be able to keep Bdd quiet in some of the games. However, it will not be enough throughout the series. Cuzz should be able to unlock Bdd to deliver carry performances. BFX has been excellent in the drafting (except the Vayne pick), and that will likely play a part in preventing Bdd from taking over the rift.

One Step Towards the World Championship

Every series victory during the LCK Playoffs brings teams one step closer to the World Championship. For the victor, a match against GenG or Hanwha Life awaits them. The likely opponent is GenG, given that GenG is crazy to pick T1. The loser is knocked down to the lower bracket, where they will face DK.
