KT managed to take their second game win over GenG in the LCK in 2025. They have plenty of work to do if they want to qualify for the World Championship and send GenG to the Lower Bracket. Kiin did everything possible in this game to ensure that GenG tied up the series. Canyon and Chovy are struggling to match the impact of Cuzz and Bdd. They will need to step up for the rest of the series.

LCK 2025: Scaling Mid-Lane Champions

The Ryze Versus Cassiopeia matchup is something we have often seen in League’s history, and on a few occasions this year. Both champions scale into the late game, and both teams will need to garner advantages before either of them comes online in the game.

GenG Composition

  • Kiin – Gwen
  • Canyon – Xin Zhao
  • Chovy – Ryze
  • Ruler – Lucian
  • Duro – Braum

KT Composition

  • PerfecT – Ambessa
  • Cuzz – Trundle
  • Bdd – Cassiopeia
  • deokdam – Jhin
  • Peter – Rakan

LCK 2025: Kiin Takes Over The Lane

The lane swap timing from GenG after deokdam died was ideal. It put PerfecT in a position where he could not farm comfortably. Kiin, on the opposite side, was not only able to farm, but he also fought back against KT’s botlane. After chunking deokdam in a 1v2, he managed to survive a 1v3 dive. Kiin is now in the perfect spot to carry the game for GenG to tie up the series.

LCK 2025: KT Fight Back, But One Mistake Proves Pivotal

Despite the early advantages to GenG and Kiin taking over the game, KT fought back. Every fight was close; however, GenG always managed to secure the Drake, even if they did not win the fight. KT was now on a timer with the Infernal Soul on the horizon. GenG identified that Cuzz and Bdd were too far pushed up in the bot lane. They collapsed on the two, which led to GenG getting Infernal Soul and four kills in the extended play. GenG were too far ahead and closed out the game.

GenG Has a Problem

GenG may have won the game, but there are concerns. Canyon and Chovy are not having the same impact that we are used to from them. Bdd and Cuzz may have made the mistake that led to GenG’s victory, but they were pivotal in keeping KT relevant in the second game. Will they reach their previous form and carry GenG to an Upper Bracket Final in the LCK Playoffs?
