A pivotal fight win gives GenG a 2-0 lead in the LCK Playoffs Grand Finals. No mistakes are allowed from this point on for HLE for the rest of the series. They start the reverse sweep with a comfortable victory. HLE and GenG fight tooth and nail for every objective. In those skirmishes, Zeka comes alive while Viper stacks up on Smolder faster than we have seen for a long time to get on the board in the series.

LCK 2025: Eight Melee Champions Drafted

In game three, both teams have drafted four melee champions. However, the damage share for HLE is significantly better. Zeus on Ambessa, and Zeka’s Sylas offer two more damage threats as long as they do not fall dramatically behind. Viper also has a better chance at shredding through the health pools of GenG, while Ruler must poke his opponents down before they find an engagement on him.

HLE Composition

  • Zeus – Ambessa
  • Peanut – Jarvan IV
  • Zeka – Sylas
  • Viper – Smolder
  • Delight – Braum

GenG Composition

  • Kiin – K’Sante
  • Canyon – Lee Sin
  • Chovy – Galio
  • Ruler – Ziggs
  • Duro – Alistar

LCK 2025: HLE Skirmish Better

Smolder is not a champion known for his skirmish power; however, with a lack of threat on Viper, HLE dominated the skirmishes. The predominant reason was the value of Zeka’s Sylas. He has finally awoken in the Grand Final on one of his signature champions. All the consistent skirmishes gave Viper plenty of stacks, making the ticking time bomb of Smolder show up faster than what GenG was prepared for.

LCK 2025: Viper Hits 225 Stacks before 21 Minutes

GenG went for a Hail Mary play on the Atakhan with the game slipping away from them. However, Viper had just hit the 225 stack count, making him a terrifying prospect for GenG. The defending MSI champions found themselves too far behind, and desperation plays rarely work out in favor of the Ziggs composition. The game continued for a few more minutes, but the writing was on the wall for a long time as HLE stayed alive in the series.

Game Three Ratings

HLE

  • Zeus – 7
  • Peanut – 8
  • Zeka – 9
  • Viper – 8
  • Delight – 7

GenG

  • Kiin – 7
  • Canyon -5
  • Chovy – 5
  • Ruler – 7
  • Duro – 6

Player of the Game – Zeka

Zeka Awakens

HLE has tried to awaken the beast of Zeka by picking Akali, followed by Sylas. The Akali did not work out entirely as planned, but the Sylas struck gold. He carried the skirmishes for HLE and bought plenty of time for Viper to stack up at an absurd rate. Zeka is running out of comfort champions, and hopefully, he can maintain the form to send us to Silver Scrapes in the LCK Grand Finals.
