GenG slammed the door in the first game of the LCK Playoffs Lower Bracket Final. They ballooned a gold lead despite good plays from KT. We will need to see Bdd and Cuzz step up to even up the series. Mistakes from Bdd gave Chovy a lead and left him behind on Akali, a champion that needs gold. Kiin’s Aatrox dominated the rift and has led GenG to a 2-0 lead in the series.

LCK 2025: Who Will Take Down Kiin on Aatrox?

Aatrox is a terrifying champion to deal with in League of Legends. He can go from near death to full health in a matter of seconds. You need consistent crowd control and damage to ensure you take down the Darkin terror. KT has some crowd control, but will it be reliable enough to lock him down before he heals through all the damage?

KT Composition

  • PerfecT – Sion
  • Cuzz – Trundle
  • Bdd – Akali
  • deokdam – Zeri
  • Peter – Neeko

GenG Composition

  • Kiin – Aatrox
  • Canyon – Xin Zhao
  • Chovy – Taliyah
  • Ruler – Sivir
  • Duro – Rakan

LCK 2025: Bdd Falls Behind Early

Akali is a champion that requires snowballing to be effective in professional games. Bdd tried his best to kill Chovy in lane, but failed. He almost killed a flashless Chovy, but overextended to gain an advantage. Instead of putting himself ahead, he gave over gold to Chovy. The GenG midlaner responded with a Weaver’s Wall on the top side of the map to further build on his advantage. Bdd never found a way back into the game, meaning KT relies on deokdam to carry every fight.

LCK 2025: Kiin is Unkillable

Kiin managed to be a better frontline for GenG than PerfecT was for KT. He found the vital angles in every fight to catch deokdam. With the KT AD carry at low health, there was no chance for them to win. Peter managed to find a monstrous engagement on GenG, including Kiin, but the combination of Aatrox’s healing and Sundered Sky meant he went from near death to 75% health in the blink of an eye.

KT’s Backs Against the Wall

KT finds themselves one loss away from being eliminated from the LCK Playoffs. They have not been able to get a hold of the series and must steady the ship if they want a chance to reverse sweep. GenG has not gotten out of second gear, meaning that they can always turn it up a notch to knock down KT and advance to the LCK Grand Finals.
