BFX came out swinging in the first game of the LCK Play-in series. However, if the previous two days are anything to go by, you can not get overexcited yet. Game one was a draft and gameplay gap. The second game was purely a gameplay gap. The Jungle and Bot Lane from BFX were instrumental in taking over and putting BFX up 2-0 in the series, and they are one game away from qualifying for the Playoffs.
NS and BFX opted for different composition styles in game two of the series. The differences between the teams are the side lane pressure that NS has to offer. Yorick and Ryze can dominate the side waves, while Bard can be there to assist. BFX, on the other hand, can collapse quickly. They will perform better in team fights as long as they are not far behind NS.

The difference between the two Bot Lanes grew exponentially in the early game. Kellin and Diable did not allow NS a moment to breathe in the lane. Jiwoo lost his summoners early and was only saved by Lehends being on Bard. Despite having no summoners, Jiwoo walked too far and gave a kill to Diable.
Raptor’s performance in this game was stable. He was always where he needed to be to ensure BFX got advantages or prevented NS from making plays. Gideon, on the other hand, struggled to find his footing in the game. He was caught out multiple times, and his failed engagement on Diable was the catalyst for NS losing all control.
Despite the solo laners of NS performing better than their counterparts, the rift is exploding around them. Both players absorbed pressure and started to build leads over their opponents. However, the overwhelming dominance of BFX’s Jungle and Bot Lane prevented both of them from having an impact on the game.

The dominant performance in the first two games of the series has put BFX 2-0 up. They are now one victory away from advancing to the LCK Playoffs, which not many expected them to make at the start of Play-Ins. BFX winning against NS is not a massive surprise. The way in which they are doing it has shocked the LCK.
