DK brought the series to Silver Scrapes against T1 in the first round of the LCK Playoffs. The last time DK were in this position, they fell to BFX. T1 ensures that it repeats for DK as they close out the series with a 3-2 victory. They advance to Round 2 of the playoffs off the back of Keria’s Blitzcrank landing hook after hook.
With all the pressure on the line for both teams, the draft could have a significant impact on the series outcome. DK had already picked Ivern, meaning they would likely select an AD champion for ShowMaker. Tryndamere was locked in for the legendary midlaner, while Aiming gets Smolder to scale into the late game.
T1 Composition
DK Composition
DK’s composition scales well into the late game with Smolder on their side. To ensure they have a better chance of securing the win, Lucid helped Siwoo garner a lead in the top lane. Doran struggled to stay relevant in the lane, and the oweness was now on Siwoo to carry the game forward for DK.
T1 started to bleed out in the game. The Smolder was scaling, and they were on a timer. Aiming stepped up to Keria’s Blitzcrank. Keria used the mistake to land a vital hook on Aiming. From that point, T1 started to gain an advantage, securing all the neutral objectives. It would be Keria’s hooks, time and time again, that caught out DK’s members. He dragged T1 from a losing position to dominate the mid-game and emerge victorious in the series.

Keria has carried T1 to Round 2 of the LCK Playoffs. DK made the series closer than anyone had expected. Only 1 LCK global member predicted a 3-2 series in favor of T1, while the rest gave T1 a 3-1 or 3-0 victory. Fortunately for T1, they have nearly guaranteed a spot at the World Championship. DK has one life left to qualify for the international event.
