Little Nightmares 3 was released this week. It’s not the longest game in the world, but it’s pretty fun, judging by my own playthrough of the game. If you’re curious about what you’re getting into, here’s a breakdown of all the chapters, how long your gameplay will be, and what we know about Secrets of the Spiral DLC Expansion so far.

All Little Nightmares 3 Chapter Breakdown

Little Nightmares 3 consists of four main chapters. On average, each chapter can take a couple of hours to complete. Here is a breakdown of each chapter, what they are called, and how many collectible dolls you can find in each chapter:

The devs of Little Nightmares 3 haven’t been the most forthcoming about the DLC Expansion that will be released sometime in the future. Yes, we don’t even know a release date for the future DLC. Bandai Namco says,

“While not essential to the main story, these additional tales enrich the experience and let you uncover hidden secrets, new perspectives, and unexpected horrors.”

We can expect that the DLC will expand on the main story of Little Nightmares 3. The DLC will add two new chapters of the main story and will add a new costume set for both Low and Alone. This game is unique in that it tells a completely new story, unrelated to Six, the original protagonist of the first two games. It follows Low and Alone as they make their escape from a place called “The Nowhere”, and this game also adds new gameplay to the franchise, like co-op and a combat system.

Little Nightmares 3 has had some mixed reviews from players and critics, but personally, I’m actively enjoying my playthrough of the game. It did get difficult at times, but I like challenges, and I think this game expands on the Little Nightmares universe and lore, and came out as a solid third installment of the game.
